When coming from Washington state, you have 4 different options for the ferry crossing:

  • Washington State ferries: Anacortes to Sidney. This is the shortest route when coming from Seattle. However, only a couple ferry crossings occur per day, so be sure to consult the schedule beforehand.
  • The Coho ferry from port angeles to downtown Victoria. This route may be convenient for travellers coming from the Olympic peninsula
  • BC Ferries: Tsawwassen - Shwartz Bay crossing. The Tsawwassen - Shwartz Bay ferry makes the most frequent crossings, leaving approximately every hour during daylight (please consult schedule.) This is often the most flexible route.
  • Victoria Clipper. This is a foot passenger only ferry from downtown Seattle to downtown Victoria. We can offer pickup from the ferry terminal in Victoria subject to prior arrangements.

We recommend taking the Anacortes - Sidney ferry when coming from the puget sound region.
